February was a lighter reading month compared to my January book list. I only read 2 books on Amazon, however, I loved both of them. One book was focused on entrepreneurship while the other book covered US history. If you decide to buy either book, let’s walk through credit cards to consider using to buy books.
Best Credit Cards to Use to Buy Books on Amazon:
Amex, Chase, and Citi each have a credit card to consider using when purchasing books on Amazon. The American Express Blue Business® Plus, Chase Freedom Unlimited®, and the Citi® Double Cash are the best cards for these purchases as you’ll earn 1.5 – 2X points per transaction.
The American Express Blue Business® is the best business card to use to buy books. You’ll earn 2X points per transaction as a cardmember. One of the primary differences between the Blue Business Plus and the Freedom Unlimited and the Double Cash is the earning structure. The Blue Business Plus earns Amex points directly with your spending.
As a Chase Freedom Unlimited cardmember, you’ll earn 1.5% cash back per transaction. If you pair this card with the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, or Chase Ink Business Preferred, you can convert your cashback into Chase points.
The Citi Double Cash is similar to the Freedom Unlimited. This card earns 2% cashback per transaction — 1% when you make a purchase and 1% when you pay your bill. If you pair the Citi Double Cash with the Citi Premier or Citi Prestige, you can convert cash back into Citi points.
2 Best Books on Amazon to Read While Traveling
Setting the Table: The Transforming Power of Hospitality in Business
You may not have heard the name Danny Meyer but you’ve certainly come across his restaurants if you love food. As the owner of Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, and Shake Shack, Meyer shares his philosophy called Enlightened Hospitality. Strong in-house relationships and customer satisfaction are what he stresses to his employees. It’s the reason his restaurant empire is so successful.
I love books like Setting the Table this where the entrepreneur is narrating the story. You feel like you’re in the kitchen with Meyer. Not only is Meyer an outstanding restauranteur but he can tell a great story. Even if you’re not into food, you’ll be fascinated by his philosophy of Enlightened Hospitality.

You’ll also learn about what led to the Boston Massacre, George Washington’s first military victory, and how the US gained independence.
I loved Legends and Lies: The Civil War and The Patriots was no different. The book covered what it was like during the American Revolution. The key figures that risked their lives for our independence. It’s a book that I could not put down and plan to read again.
