Amazon Books I Purchased

After finishing Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World, I started The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness. It’s incredible so far! Mayflower: Voyage, Community, War is the newest book I purchased and look forward to jumping into.

Frequent Flyer Articles I Read

Here’s a round up of the best frequent flyer articles I read this week:

The Observer Effect article on Daniel Ek, the founder of Spotify, is interesting. Daniel goes deep on his leadership style, time management, decision making, and Spotify’s impact on the world. All in all, I picked up several tips from this article that I can use to improve myself.

Recent PWQ Posts

Here’s a round up of new PWQ articles I wrote this week:

Turkish Airlines Miles and Smiles: 5 Best Ways To Use Turkish Airlines Miles

Best Books on Amazon: Top 3 Books from September

New Shows and Movies I Discovered

We finished up (Un)Well this week and I have mixed feelings about the show. There are interesting episodes for sure. Is the entire season great? It’s just ok. A new series we started is Somebody Feed Phil. From the show description, “Everybody Loves Raymond” creator Phil Rosenthal travels the globe to take in the local cuisine and culture of Bangkok, Lisbon, Mexico City and more.

New Music I Listened To

The artist I played the most this week was Gramatik. This was after bouncing around to different genres and artists throughout the week.

New Wine I Enjoyed

Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 and Robert Mondavi Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon Aged in Bourbon Barrels 2016 are two wines I dove into. Freakshow is a Cab from Lodi that’s bold and dry. Robert Mondavi is also a Cab that’s bold and dry from Monterey.

New Podcasts I Listened To

Joe Rogan’s 1492 – Jocko Willink is fantastic! Jocko is a decorated retired Navy SEAL officer, author, co-founder of Echelon Front, and has a podcast, The Jocko Podcast. In short, he’s one of my favorite humans to follow.
