The Chase Freedom Unlimited earns 1.5x points on all transactions. You earn 4x points at Hyatt with the World of Hyatt credit card. All in all, Chase’s portfolio of credit cards make it easy to earn points.
Royal Palms Resort and Spa
The Unbound Collection is one of my favorite Hyatt hotels brands. Royal Palms Resort and Spa is a category 6 property in this portfolio requiring 25,000 Hyatt points per night. Camelback East Village is the location of this hotel in Phoenix. Above all, Royal Palms Resort is in Phoenix which is a fantastic city to visit this time of year.
Royal Palms Resort and Spa is a Spanish Colonial home built in 1929. Roughly a mile from Camelback Mountain, resort amenities include a cocktail lounge, a Mediterranean restaurant, a bar, an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a spa, a steam room, and a gym.
Mar Monte Hotel

Ventana Big Sur is an Alila brand property and arguably one of the most aspirational Hyatt hotels in the US. It’s an all-suites hotel that requires 48,000 Hyatt points per night.
Located along the Pacific Coast Highway south of Monterrey, Ventana Big Sur continually receives rave reviews (see HERE and HERE). Ventana Big Sur is currently an all-inclusive property offering free breakfast, guided walks, wine & cheese receptions, yoga, Tai Chi classes, a farm-to-table restaurant and bar, a pool, a sauna, a fitness center, and a spa. In short, Ventana Big Sur has it all.
